Progressive Hospital has established specific visiting regulations/guidelines to allow for patient socialization and support yet ensure adequate periods for therapeutic rest and recuperation.
Visiting hours are 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Numbers of visitors should be limited to 1 or 2 per patient at a time. For larger groups patio visiting is available during day light hours. Visiting periods should be time limited and appropriate to patient tolerance and condition. Children below the age of 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Health Care workers may request visitors to leave the room and Hospital Administration may adjust and or limit visiting for the benefit of the individual patient and the facility staff.Upon entering and exiting the hospital, every visitor is asked to sign in and out on the visitor log and to sanitize their hands. If visiting at dusk and before dawn, use the front door intercom to request entrance. If the activity of the patient or facility is such that visiting is inappropriate, the visitor may be asked to visit at another time.
