Rehabilitation
- Our Rehabilitation team provides Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy to our patients
- Our team is experienced with medically complex patients

- We have a team approach to therapy delivery and focus our care on functional outcomes
- Our team specializes in returning patients with declines in activities of daily living (ADLs) gait, mobility and transfers to their prior level of function

Respiratory Therapy
- Our Respiratory Care Practitioners are Registered Respiratory Therapists and are ACLS certified
- Our RCP's use state-of-the-art equipment and the most up-to-date evidence based practices
- The RT department can provide any mode of ventilation, monitors patient’s exhaled CO2 on ventilators and off and uses the most accurate pulse oximeters available to clinicians
- We focus on non-invasive monitoring and use the best products available in the respiratory therapy market place
- All of our patients are assessed twice daily by the RCP staff to assure no clinical changes that can be assessed by non-invasive monitoring are missed
- Our Respiratory Therapy Department has an evidence based, Therapist driven 8-Step Ventilator Weaning Protocol that is highly successful. Our Pulmonologists round with the RCPs on all respiratory patients 3 times a week and are available to the RCP’s 24/7
Nursing Department
- All Registered Nurses are ACLS Certified
- Care delivery bundles in place to prevent HAI's
- Disposable patient interfaces are implemented where ever possible i.e. Bp cuffs, lift slings, pulse oximeter probes
- Nursing staffing is acuity based
- All nursing staff perform clinical competencies on ventilator care and emergency preparedness
- All patient care plans are individually focused
- Weekly patient care conference with all team members and families
